I"m gonna be honest with you, i have never viewed GOT as a fantasy series. You know why. Because the characters and the character interactions seem so real. All of these characters develope, change the world and people around them. And the interactions of the characters are just GODLY, the writing especially in these interactions seem so realistic. And yes there are fantasy elements, like frost zombies, magic etc and especially in the newer seasons where we explore the world even more, but that"s what makes it great. It"s a living breathing world filled with cultures, religions, history and alot more. This is why GOT is my favourite show, a living breathing world that has amazing, complex and realistic characters that impact the people and world around them in their own unique way.
